Kauppila Farm
Accommodation is also available at the tradition-rich Kauppila Farm. Comfortable accommodation can be found in the main house, club sauna, Steward’s Cottage, and other cottages. The owners of the farm can organise a variety of activities as required.
Sleeping in the wild
If you want to sleep in the wild, it is also possible. Seitseminen and Helvetinjärvi national parks have places for making a fire and setting up a tent and lean-to shelters. The mind rests in the silence of the forest.

You get what you ask for. The kitchen of the hotel-restaurant Ikahovi is high quality and also flexible. On order, we do almost anything, including requests off the menu. Of course, you can choose your favourite from our lunch or á la carte menus and we also offer succulent pizzas prepared in our own oven.

Luomajärven Horse Inn exudes a traditional countryside atmosphere. It is a festive location that leaves no one indifferent.
Café Mimmi
Café Mimmi is located at the heart of the Wanha Kauppala. If you’re feeling peckish or are in need of a caffeine boost, come on in. Mimmi’s soups, salads and pastries are homemade and the portions are large. The café is named after Mimmi Blom, who fed and accommodated guests in the summer restaurant in Kauppala over one hundred years ago.
Myllyn Leipä
Myllyn leipä is a local bakery and a family enterprise where traditions are respected. The majority of the produce – from rye bread to pastries and confectionery – is handmade. The bakery’s own shop-café is renowned among gourmands. The Hiivaton Revitty Ruisleipä, the yeast-free ‘ripped’ rye bread, is the absolute favourite.
Ikaalisten Luomu
Ikaalisten Luomu grows plump tomatoes and succulent salads in an ecologically sustainable way in a clean natural environment. To the delight of all Finnish gourmands, the harvest is collected and delivered to the shops all year round. From the farm’s self-service shop (open Fri 8am – 3pm), you can buy produce to take with you.
Natural lunch
Ikaalinen's wilderness is also a magnificent source of food. Go fishing. Go after game. Or pick mushrooms and berries from the forest. The clean countryside and hiking are also the best nourishment for the spirit.
